Aardwolf Twister MSS03: review the complete handling assembly

Aardwolf describes the MSS03 Twister as a motorized, remotely controlled rotation attachment for its slab lifters. Its role is therefore different from a standalone lifting device. A buying discussion needs to identify the complete assembly in which the attachment will operate.

Start with the equipment already owned

Prepare a list of the shop’s existing lifting equipment, with exact model and serial information. Give that list to the supplier and request written confirmation of the proposed combination. A photograph of a similar arrangement does not establish compatibility with the equipment in your building.

Separate the attachment price from the rest of the proposal. Ask which components, controls, commissioning work and training are included. Record who will resolve questions involving more than one manufacturer.

Evaluate the workflow, not just the rotation

The operational question is where rotation is needed and what happens before and after it. Map that handoff with the people responsible for material movement. A qualified supplier should assess the physical installation and operating requirements; an editorial product description cannot replace that assessment.

Request current operating documentation for the exact supplied model, including inspection and maintenance requirements. Keep it with the equipment record rather than only in the purchaser’s inbox.
