How the reference desk works

Scope and selection

The initial register covers 17 selected products in software, CNC machinery and digital templating. Selection reflects the publication’s current coverage, not market share or a claim to list every supplier. Products are grouped by their documented role. Display order is not a ranking.

Evidence levels

Vendor documented

A named vendor source supports a product description. It does not establish independent performance.

Observed demonstration

A recorded task with date, configuration, operator and results. No records in this release have this evidence level.

Owner account

An attributed account with context and commercial relationships disclosed. Existing manufacturer-published shop stories remain labeled as such.

Independent test

A documented method with repeatable inputs and results. No product in the current register has been independently tested by this publication.

Unknowns stay unknown

Missing pricing, untested integrations and unverified results are identified as questions to resolve. They are not recorded as absent features. We do not translate vendor savings claims into scores or predict a shop’s outcome from them.

Dates and changes

Publication dates identify when we published. Historical periods identify the period an article discusses. Product records carry the date their supporting documentation was checked. An old product launch date is not used as a publication date.

Register release 2: 2026-09-14. The register contains 17 product records. Release 2 added Stone Profit Systems and links to the companion software guides. Future material corrections should describe the changed claim and its source in the release record.

Ownership and commercial coverage

These publications share one founder-run publisher. Links between them are internal to that group. Current register entries are not paid placements. Future sponsorships must be disclosed on the affected coverage; payment does not establish a measured product result. Publisher and editorial information.

Corrections

Submit a correction with the page URL, disputed statement, current source and exact version or configuration. The issue tracker requires a GitHub account. Do not include customer records or private contracts.

Download the JSON register for its product identities, source links and verification questions. Manufacturer names and source materials remain attributable to their respective owners. This download is a reference export, not an image license or a collection of independently tested specifications.
