Evo-Lite Auragami Gen 2: plan the light with the surface

Evo-Lite’s Auragami Gen 2 range includes single-color white, tunable-white and RGBW light sheets. Its documentation describes a flexible sheet format with product-specific shaping, mounting, power and control requirements.

For countertop and stone businesses, the interesting part is the relationship between the light source and the material in front of it. A translucent surface is only one component of the finished appearance. The light color, spacing, backing and surrounding room all contribute to what the customer sees.

Build a sample assembly before promising a result

Ask the lighting supplier to help evaluate a representative piece of the intended surface. Use the planned material and assembly details when discussing light distribution and color. A photograph of another project can establish a direction, but it cannot establish how a different slab will transmit light.

Coordinate responsibilities early. The fabricator, cabinet maker, lighting supplier and electrical installer need a common understanding of the assembly, access and service plan. Use the current specification sheets for the chosen light-sheet version and compatible components.

Auragami’s range gives shops several ways to explore a backlit feature. The strongest proposal is one supported by a reviewed sample, a clear division of work and a documented system, so the visual idea remains achievable when the project reaches installation.
