Read the product history in stages
A company timeline can compress several engineering and commercial developments into a few paragraphs. For fabrication research, unpack those stages. The existence of a manufacturer in one year does not establish that a later slab size, thickness, finish, or intended use was already available.
A useful historical record keeps the company milestone, product specification, and application separate. This is especially helpful when reviewing older project photographs: the visual appearance of a surface rarely identifies all the details needed for a new order.
What a shop should retain
Keep the product code and the applicable technical document with the purchase record. Where a document has a revision date, preserve it. If the project changes, identify which specification was replaced and which one was approved.
This article uses the 2001 founding as an archive anchor. It does not describe a 2001 countertop product test, nor does it infer that the manufacturer's current range existed then. Later documented formats belong in their own entries, allowing readers to follow changes without collapsing the entire range into one date.
New retrospective using attributed historical sources and original editorial analysis. Not a contemporary review, interview, or firsthand equipment test.
