Follow one measurement record

For a supplier demonstration, choose a sample project and identify the required measurements, photographs, notes, and approvals. Ask what the field user records and what the coordinator receives. Have a second person interpret the resulting packet without an extra verbal explanation.

Record the exact hardware and software package used. If files pass through another design or programming system, include that step in the demonstration plan. Opening a file does not establish that all the information needed by production has traveled with it.

Make revisions understandable

Ask how the proposed workflow identifies a returned visit, a changed dimension, or a corrected note. Determine how the team knows which version is ready for the next stage and who authorizes that status. These are process questions for the vendor and shop to resolve together.

Include training, support, and the handoff procedure in the evaluation record. The objective is to understand the full working package, rather than infer it from a device name.
